My house is small. It's on Hoang Dieu street. There were two floors.The first has a living room,a kitchen and a bathroom .The second is our bedroom. The living room is the largest room. My dream house should be situated outside the city, in a deserted place, somewhere in a wood near a lake surrounded by the wild beautiful nature, or it would be an amazing idea to live somewhere on an island like Hawaii with beautiful sandy beaches and a lot of sun. The interior design of my house should be carefully planned to every detail but I should confess that I prefer a minimalistic approach to the design of interior so I don’t like my ideal house to be stuffed with a lot of unnecessary furniture – instead, I would like to have enough space to feel free. Besides, I would like to have enough space for green plants and flowers that would create beauty and peace.

I would like to have a spacious hall and a large living room with comfortable sofas and armchairs and a large soft carpet on the floor. My kitchen should be small and neat because I am I am not really fond of cooking – I prefer to have meals in small restaurants, and I cook rarely. But my kitchen should be equipped with the latest cooking appliances and utensils. I would like to have a really huge refrigerator that could be filled with cool drinks and a freezer. My kitchen should be designed in a Scandinavian style with simple white walls and a floor. I would like to have a large wooden dining table.

I would like to have three bedrooms with attached bathrooms with a shower and a Jacuzzi. The bedrooms should be cozy with large beds and soft carpets on the floors. I would like to have a large TV set in my bedroom and a built-in closet. I am fond of reading, actually, I am a bookworm, so the library would be one of the most important rooms in my dream house. I would like to have shelves with books of my favorite writers that would line the walls from the floor to the ceiling. In the library, I prefer to have the latest desktop computer to surf the Internet.

I like to watch Television. I used to watch cartoon programmes, general knowledge programmes and craft programmes. Among all ,I love the Programme ‘craft’, shown on the Kids Channel every day at 6 o’ clock in the evening. I am very fond of this Programme because they show how to make decorative items with the help of various things. With waste items like old newspapers, ice cream sticks, disposable plates and glasses, plastic bottles etc. The timing of this Programme is also suitable for me as it showed in evening. My favorite sport is football. In America people called it Soccer. But I like to call it Football. Nowadays, most of people in the world like football,so it is called the king of sports. Why do people like it? I think the most reason is it easy to play. You can play football every where if you just have a ball with the right size. Not only men play football but also women can play. When World cup took place, a large number of millions people watched it on TV and saw it directly. Now there are many football club in each country, even district, school in the world. In the football today there are much more money involved, especially in sponsors. But player also cost a lot, There are many players as C.Ronaldo, Beckham, Zidane who cost over 50 million euro, even over 100 million euro. Many big and famous club have large stadiums with alot of fan in all over the world. They can get a great number of billion US dollar from broadcasting copywrite every year and a big avenue from sponsors and advertising. That prove the attration of football. To me, I like football because it's a useful, healthful, collective but competitive sport. I like fresh air on stadium on each match. Anyways football always is the most favorite sport of mine.

One more thing to mention here, I want the house which is far from main city and industrial area since I don't like the noisy environment.Oh, yeah, what about the size of the house? I prefer the medium size house having 2 or 3 floors. I don't like very large building because I have small family and I don't like to rent my home. I prefer to stay in second or ground floor during the summer season because the top floor is excessively heated during the very season whereas I like to stay in second or third floor during the winter as ground floor will be excessively cold during that period. Next thing is about gym room, I would like to have a fitness center within my premise as I am a young boy and I want to be a healthy person.

   I am not particularly keen on watching TV, as in my opinion, not many TV programmes are worth watching but unfortunately the good ones end very late at night. As I often have to get up very early I prefer not to watch those films which finish very late, however good they may be.

   "Operación Triunfo" and "Mira quien baila" are some of the programmes that I usually watch. They both have something in common: they are both about acquiring artistic skills through effort and hard work. The difference between these programmes is the way they end. In the first programme the winners donate the prize money to a NGO. In the second programme the winners are offered a recording contract.

   In conclusion, these programmes are family orientated. The presenters and contestants in both programmes are friendly and funny, so enjoyment is guaranteed. I really enjoy watching the dancing and listening to the songs.

   My favorite sport is playing badminton. There are four reasons why I like it. Firstly, I can improve my health through playing it. I play it about 2 times every week. It makes me feel energetic everyday. Secondly, I enjoy the feeling that badminton flies in the air. I can change the movement direction of badminton without much effort and make opponent lose it. Thirdly, I can make many friends when I play badminton. I often play it with many kinds of persons. We can improve our skills with exercises. Also we talk about many interesting things when we have an break. Finally, playing badminton is not as intense as other sports such as basketball and soccer. It lessens the possibility of being hurt. There are many programmes on TV but my favourite TV programmes is Tom and Jerry.

This film is from the Americ. It is always shown on Cartoon Network " Tom and Jerry" cartoon is talking about conjlict between cat and mouse. Tom and Jerry was living under one roof. The main character is Tom and Jerry. Tom jealousy and love to over come other people, but he is very stupid. Mean while, Jerry is smart and agile.

I love it very much because the film gave me good lessons about friendship.

My best friend is Hương. We have known each other since we were 10 years old. However we became best friends when we were at grade 7. At that time I was very bad at English and it was who helped me improve my English. Now she lives with her parents in Nguyen Trai street.

If I were to describe how she looks I would say she is very pretty. She has long black hair a straight nose and a small pointed chin. She is quite slim. She doesn t like to dress up so I usually see her wearing jeans and a T - shirt. She has a very nice personality and a wonderful sense of humour but she can also get a little depressed from time to time. I can always count on her to be honest and to give me the best advice.

What I like about Lan is that she has same hobbies with me. We both enjoy singing karaoke reading comic books and going shopping. We like going to the cinema but sometimes can t agree on which movie to see. In addition since I am better in Maths and Chemistry and she is better in English and languages we can always help each other if we get confused about a difficult homework assignment. We are so lucky that we get along so well. I hope that our friendship can last long.

Tet is a traditional holiday of Vietnam. Before Tet Holiday,I buy some new clothes, decorate and clean your house. The meaning of Tet is ending old year and welcome a new year. At Tet, I will go to the Pagoda with my mum to wish the happiness for my family. On Tet holiday, people have many recreational activities. Young persons take part in the traditional games such as: tug of war, cooking rice, cock fighting, watching lion dance. It's very interesting! At midnigt, I will watch firework with my family and then get lucky money from my relative. However, I will play cards all night with some my friend and talk together.
